We were delighted by such a warm welcome and the from the many feedback we received, which have been collected and on which we have worked hard during the last month in order to release the first official patch of the Demo. But be forewarned, the scene you find yourself in, this breathtaking land of paint and oil is not always as straightforward as it appears. The appearance of a ship, the rise of a lighthouse, each mystery you uncover and puzzle you solve will unfold new wonders and unveil new places to explore. As you investigate your surroundings, the island will start to change. A dreamlike journey into a surreal world of the artist’s own creations where the atmospheric gameplay provides mysteries to discover, puzzles to solve and artistic landscapes to explore. The player, in the role of a painter who has made a deal with the devil, has to find his way back to the real world after being cheated and trapped into one of his canvases. Summertime Madness is a single-player first-person puzzle game. We will be here to collect your opinions, trying to be always present, helpful and available to anyone who wants to share their gaming experience with us. I want to thank in advance all those who will try the game, who will leave us their comments, positive or negative, but who will be supporting us anyway. Other times we have had to compromise and accept our limits without them weighing on the players.ĭespite all what may be the shortcomings and the flaws of any indie game, this last year pushed us to give everything we could, day after day, to give you the best game experience we could.įrom now on, I can only hope that for all the players out there, Summertime Madness will be a positive, inspiring and fun experience, capable to open new horizons as it has been for us. Sometimes we managed to do more than we could have hoped for. It was exciting to see the game grow from a 5 minutes-prototype to a complete experience, filled by the feedback and support of the testers, friends and players who were indispensable in helping us keep the right direction. Working on our independent title was one of our biggest dreams, which we had to forge keeping in mind what was our experience, the tight schedule, the resources and the expectations that each of us had. Working on the development of our debut title was a fantastic yet challenging experience, full of ups and downs, moments when everything went smoothly and others when everything seemed lost. After one year of development, we are proud to finally release Summertime Madness!
